An adaptation of the 1987 American film, based on the 1973 novel of the same name by William Goldman, combining comedy, adventure, romance, and fantasy.
The film was directed by Rob Reiner from a screenplay by Goldman. The story is presented in the movie as a book being read by a grandfather (Peter Falk) to his sick grandson (Fred Savage), thus effectively preserving this novel’s narrative style. This film is number 50 on Bravo’s “100 Funniest Movies” and number 88 on The American Film Institute’s (AFI) “AFI’s 100 Years… 100 Passions” listing the 100 greatest film love stories of all time.

Pillow Talk and The Actor’s Nightmare – Winter

In PILLOW TALK, by Peter Tolan, two heterosexual men, Aaron and Doug, are forced to share a bedroom and a bed in the mobile home of Aaron’s dotty old grandmother. Hampered by Doug’s phobic fear of physical intimacy, the characters are forced to examine their feelings about friendship and each other. As the battle lines are drawn, they get little sleep and a night full of surprises.

The Actor’s Nightmare is a short comic play by Christopher Durang. It involves an accountant named George Spelvin, who is mistaken for an actor’s understudy and forced to perform in a play for which he doesn’t know any of the lines.
